Before stepping into photography full time, I spent several years teaching elementary school. Those days taught me so much about noticing the small moments, connecting with people quickly, and making others feel comfortable — all things that naturally carried into the way I photograph. I’ve always been drawn to stories, warmth, and real emotion, and I love capturing images that feel honest and full of life. When I’m not photographing families or couples, you can usually find me exploring cozy coffee shops, shopping, walking my golden retriever, or creating content just for fun. I have a deep appreciation for the seasons you're in...the messy, the magical, and everything in between. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can simply be yourselves while I preserve the moments you’ll want to remember for years to come.
My approach
I believe the most meaningful photos come from moments that are actually happening. The way people interact, laugh, hold hands, and show up for each other. My approach is documentary at heart, meaning I pay close attention to what’s unfolding naturally, while offering gentle guidance so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do- that’s my job. I’ll guide you into good light, help you feel at ease, and then let the moment take over.
